Maximizing Benefits: How the facility's network affiliations benefit the Substance Use Treatment Clients

As a substance use treatment facility, GreenLifeIOP is committed to providing comprehensive care and overall support to all people seeking help with substance use disorders. One crucial aspect of this commitment is our network affiliations with various insurance providers. In this blog post, we’ll explore how being in-network with multiple insurers benefits our clients and helps significantly reduce their out-of-pocket expenses.

In-network providers are healthcare professionals or facilities that have a contract with your insurance company. When you visit an in-network provider, you pay (typically a lot) less money out of your pocket. On the other hand, out-of-network providers do not have a contract with your insurance company. When you visit an out-of-network provider, you’ll likely pay more. These costs can be significantly higher than in-network rates. Out-of-network providers can also “balance bill” you, charging you the difference between their fees and what your insurance covers.

The Power of Network Affiliations

GreenLifeIOP is proud to be In-Network with most major health insurers. We are already an in-network provider for Aetna, AvMed, Cigna, First Health, Magellan, Memorial Healthcare System, Humana/TriCare East, as well as United Healthcare, United Behavioral Health, and Optum.

New In-Network contracts: Oscar Health, GEHA - Federal Employees Health Benefits Plans and Blue Cross Blue Shield

In addition, we are beyond excited to share that as of July 2024, we have added multiple significant network affiliations. We are now also an in-network provider to Oscar Health, GEHA - Federal Employees Health Benefits Plans, as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield, including both HMO and PPO options.

At our substance use treatment facility, we prioritize our clients’ well-being. Our network affiliations with Oscar Health, GEHA, and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans empower us to provide high-quality care while minimizing financial burdens to our Clients. Becoming an in-network provider means to us that we can provide enhanced convenience to our clients—it’s also a commitment to our client’s recovery journey.
